This home was struck by lightning, leading to a full burnout of the garage and severe fire damage extending through the roof near the master bedroom. When the fire department extinguished the blaze, ceilings and insulation collapsed throughout the house, causing widespread water and smoke damage.

Meet the Demolition Team

While the content team operates with precision and care to preserve fragile and valuable items exposed to heat and smoke, our demolition team brings high energy and raw strength to every job. Their mission: remove everything that has been contaminated by soot, smoke, or potentially cancer-causing chemicals.

This is demanding, physical work—often performed in hazardous conditions under full protective gear, including Tyvek suits and respirators. There’s no air conditioning, and the spaces can be intensely hot and unstable. These are the muscle behind the scenes, making spaces safe for rebuild.

While the homes shown earlier are in the early or active phases of restoration, this segment showcases a few completed stages from a property that experienced a kitchen fire and heavy smoke damage. Although this is not a full start-to-finish restoration we've documented ourselves, we are actively capturing several projects and will be able to share full journeys in the future.

Here, our content team is unpacking restored items, and the demolition crew is lending muscle to move everything back inside. The space looks brand new, with just the fridge left out so the owner can decide on it later. Our team works hard to bring happiness back into every room.

When your belongings are returned, it feels like a move-in—only cleaner and more organized. We bring our own supplies, moving trucks, and the right team to make it smooth and complete.
